Rosehip tea has a striking ruby reddish colour with a strong aroma, and the taste lives up to this initial impression. It is bursting with a strong and rewarding sour-fruity flavour, which lingers in the palate.

Rose hips are particularly high in Vitamin C, with about 1700–2000 mg per 100 g in the dried product, one of the richest plant sources.

Native Americans have been using rosehips as tea for thousands of years, and when the tea is finished, the hips were added to stews or soups.

Useage:
Place one teaspoon of tea per person into a warmed pot or Mug Infuser and add hot water. Allow to steep for 5 minutes, or longer if a strong infusion is required, then strain into mugs. A little honey or other natural sweeteners such as stevia can be added
