Skullcap is a powerful medicinal herb which has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, astringent, diuretic, antibacterial and sedative properties. Skullcap relaxes states of nervous tension.

It is also known as a female medicinal herb as its a strong emmenagogue and helps the nervous tension and irritability of pre-menstrual tension. Infusions of the plant have traditionally been given to promote menstruation, however it should not be given to pregnant women since it could induce a miscarriage.

As Skullcap contains sedative properties, it should be used with caution by those taking anti-anxiety medication or medication for seizures, sleep disorders and antihistamines.

100ml 1:3 Alcohol Volume 25%. Take 10 - 15 drops 2 x daily.
