Our Mullein Herbal Tincture can be used for the relief of symptoms associated with bronchitis, colds and flu, cough, earache, emphysema and laryngitis. It has been endorsed by Commission E for respiratory complaints because it contains chemicals called saponins that have expectorant properties. It can help bring up sticky phlegm, soothes the throat, has bactericidal activity and helps stops the muscle spasms that trigger coughs. The plant reportedly contains compounds that inhibit flu viruses. It can be added to boiling water to make a tea along with lemon and honey. For emphysema, add red chilli pepper and liquorice. For earache, drops can be added to the ear.

100ml 1:4 Alcohol Volume 25%. Take 10 – 15 drops 2 x daily.
