White Mulberries

Morus alba, known as white mulberry, is a short-lived, fast-growing, small to medium-sized mulberry tree, which grows to 10–20 m tall and native to northern China.The fruit of the white Mulberry are delicious berries with lots of health benefits containing valuable vitamins and minerals. Specifically they are high in Vitamin C (36mg per 100g) and contain the minerals iron (7.4mg per 100g) and calcium (156mg per 100g).They are also a source of fibre (6.8 g per 100g) and vitamin K. They also contain resveratrol, the anti-aging nutrient found in red wine and anti-oxidants. White mulberries have a unique taste being sweet with a chewy yet crumbly texture.
